Default 2008 350Z Clearance Offer Article

Hey everyone,

Appreciate the response on our last question, the feedback is essential to directing and improving future content. We asked a question on the 350Z clearance offer article on the home page.

Basically, what do you think: better to get last year's 350z for a big rebate and/or a low APR, or get the 370z for its regular price of slightly more. The value vs. cost debate probably involves a Z that won't be manufactured anymore for a Z that just started being produced. The latter has better factory performance and the "ooh" factor of being a new car that will have some buzz for years to come. The former is a beloved Z-Chassis entrant with years of longevity that translates into great aftermarket products (but also greater cost). So if you've been mulling over it, give us your thoughts. You probably have your own factors to consider, so give us your arguments. Thanks.

I am a little confused. Sounds like you are selling something. New member and 2 posts? Who are “us.?”

Pardon me guys,

I should have introduced myself as this is the first post I am making on this forum (but not on the site -- 1 other on the 370 forum )

I say "us" because everything you see on this site is a huge collaboration, including you, the member.

We are trying to offer you guys better and better content, so you will see more and more requests for your feedback in the future.

Thanks.

I think most people that can afford it would wait for a year or two til Nissan fixes any of the first year issues on the 370z. It took them well over 2 to fix it for the earlier Zs. Not too bad to get a final year 350z anyway, considering the resale value may be a little better than the earlier ones because of the HR.

I am skeptical. Why is your SN not blue or whatever for being staff/mod/admin?

What is there to be skeptical about? The OP linked to a page on this site. I don't get it, does everyone wear tin-foil hats on here?

Fiddy, Jccz, and any others:

Being shown as a user/member as you all are, and as I am, was with respect to the admin/mod/staff here who actually do some heavy lifting. But understandably, I see how this all can be confusing. This account will be made more official.

Now, hopefully that's settled and we can focus on the question posed and on getting some great feedback. Thanks everyone.

admin/mod/staff: why dont u look at these threads and see whats going on with the harassment on the "mid-life crisis" thread in the misc section. The mods are doing nothing and this thread was just a response to the "this pertains to 17 year olds getting a 350z" thread... incredible

As a mechanic and a person who has worked for companies that manufacturer equipment. You always take a chance when buying something new. When the car is a couple of years older I'll jump on one. For now the 350z works just fine. Especially at the rates for picking up a car right now.

Yes there are those who have the money or just like to be ahead of the game. I don't see anything wrong with buying a new car that has newer systems and looks great. If it weren't for the people that go out and buy them the companies would stop making them. Plus this works out any system problems that the car may have as to the new design or system. It happens with almost all car manufacturers. Besides the folks that don't get them now will buy them used later.

Why would someone make this post in this thread???????

I'm keeping the 03 350Z. I put on a S/C so now I have a car that I know and a car that I know is faster than a 370Z. As noted...the first year is seldom without some problems when a new version comes out.

For gods sake, would you puhleeeeze give it a rest, or go find a different playground at least? This thread has absolutely nothing to do with age, although once again you have brought moron into play. Jeesh!
