I kind of misled with the way I phrased it. The 233 hp was from a dyno in Denver, but it was supposedly corrected for altitude. It isn't really comparable to anything though. Still lower than I would expect, seems the AWD leads to more parasitic drivetrain loss than we're used to.

I joined the forum to learn more about the car im going to own soon and thats what happened. I never knew that the things i posted were false and now I know. I still think sti's are nice cars but thats just an opinion. Do i like the sti more than the z? No, but that doesn't mean im gonna trash a car that in my eyes is pretty respectable on the streets.

Problem with posting things that are false is that this information spreads and people become misinformed. In the beginning, just sit back and do more reading less posting.

As a previous owner of a 03 wrx, I'm proud to say that the 350z is in my opinion the best car I've driven. Linear power. Once you get some decent tires, the fun is endless. No computers to help you just white knuckles and skills.
I've driven e36 bmws, lexus is350, 08 wrx each for over a year in SF,LA and the back roads in the bay, I wouldn't trade my z33 for its ride quality, power delivery and predictability.
Having said this, the z33 is more of all of the best parts of a e36bmw coupled with the aforementioned Lexus IS350. Personally, I wish it had a tiny back seat, but maybe I'll look into a g.

I'll take my Z over a subi anyday.
The Z looks way better, and if I want to go fast I will take my Buell 1125Cr, it will own any subi. Quarter mile in under 10 seconds stock on my buell, any subi that is running that is heavily modded. Not to mention Buell looks so much better then a subi.

Most of the time I never see any subie without a HUGE coffee can funnel exhaust bolted onto the back, I guess they feel the need to compensate for somethin...

My Z is gettin up there in the miles. I was honestly thinking about getting a subie.. For the price, not much beats it. 04-07. I honestly dont think they look bad. Not as good as the Z but not ugly like ppl say. Awd would be nice in kansas. Plus itd be great to go campIng in it sometimes. Idk if ill regret it later on. I do love that te Z looks a lot better and keeps up with the STI. Plus RWD is so much more fun
