Unfortunately, OP never followed up on this thread. I haven't seen anybody else claim to have tried this setup either. Maybe it didn't quite work out as originally planned.

Sorry it took a while to see that someone had posted to this thread again. The cruise control still works fine, just used it yesterday.

I'm not an expert on 350Zs, but I bet the kit will work on any 350Z that has throttle by wire.

Since everything but the actual control module is buried under the dash, I'm not sure what pictures I can contribute. The Conrad Anderson web site has pictures of everything.

My car's VIN indicated Enthusiast, but turned out to be a base missed out on HID's, LSD, Cruise, and Brembos I think????? Really frustrated me. I got over it quick though.... a 350z is a 350z. Can do without the cruise, but the HID's were important to me as well as the LSD

That's ok cool, I was just a little curious as to where you mounted the cruise settings on the car but probably somewhere on the steering wheel I suppose

Sorry but there's nothing in the VIN that indicates which model it is. The only way to find out from the VIN is to call a dealer or NNA and have them look it up in their system based on the VIN.

I came across an '06 (I think) Base that had the cruise added. It was mounted on a stalk on the side of the steering column. The owner said it worked great.

I know. That's what the dealership guy told me before I bought the car. He said they're the ones that called the dealership and thats what they told them people are stupid sometimes. I complained to him, telling him I was falsely mislead and he ended up giving me a 4 year 50,000 mile full warranty (anything from drivetrain, suspension, cooling, to electrical etc etc). I settled for it.

when I was just test driving / messing around / not ready to purchase yet, my local nissan dealership had some jiggaboo car dealer that ended up going with me. the bastard couldn't even tell me the difference between the models. when I asked him what the differences between the trims were he told me aero pieces.

good thing I did my research before pulling the trigger and knew exactly what I was getting as opposed to relying on some idiots' word : )

I used this control:

http://www.conrad-anderson.co.uk/cru...mandmodule.htm

I'm not sure I'd recommend it for someone else, and may try one of the other ones when I have another spare 85 GBP.

how is that an investment when you have cloth seats its not like they're leather which is alot colder in the winter but I've never had a need for them and thats coming from someone in MN.... But that's for another discussion this thread is about CC on a base Z.

I installed a Gold Cruise from Conrad Anderson in my 2007 350Z base model. See this post:
