Did more research on the 5th Bow Motor issue. Read the excellent article here within my350z.com on how to remove/ overhaul the motor(s). Can hardly wait till it warms up enough around here to do the repair. Still below zero every night and not much better during the day. Come on Spring!

Tried it first. No workee. Followed that up with rubbing compound. Still no workee so I used up my EBay gift card just for the halibut.
Izz all good, poseur logo coming off car today. Just gonna leave it alone, very mild ghosting and all. Better than the sneering looks at traffic lights. Hahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa........
So what did I do to my car today?
Well, today, this:
OK, couple days ago.... New Koni's, SPC rear camber kit, front UCAs.
See full write-up comparing Bilsteins and Konis here. (If you're suffering insomnia.)
Cheers,
Mic
PS If pics look familiar (from an earlier post of mine), yep, same spot - just below the intersection of Hwy 9 and 35, above Sillycon Valley. I'm a creature of habit... great testing grounds! Heh heh.

You want to basically do the following:
-600 grit wet/dry sandpaper to remove the clear
-1000 grit wet/dry to refine the surface
-6-8 light coats of spraypaint clear with around 30 mins between coats. The clear will show up as cloudy for the first 10 minutes but after that you will see the clear giving it a glossy appearance
Your other option is to give them to a good bodyshop which could easily do them if you're not comfortable with painting anything yourself. They could spray the clear in a thicker fashion and in less coats then you can but as you can see from mine it still looks good if you do it yourself

I installed ES bushings in the rear, everywhere. And I put my hotchkis bars in. It took absolutely forever and was decently challenging to get done in two days. I did have to get the upper rear arms pressed out by a shop as I could not figure out how to get those specific bushings out.
"Look ma, no subframe! Nyeh nyeh!"
Awesome.
