Hardwood trunk that turned out better than expected! $20 interlocking wood panels + $30 portable jigsaw = a cheap quality aesthetic mod. I installed it right over the trunk mat but it feels solid. I didn't glue all the panels together so that it can easily be removed if I needed to get to my spare tire.

I detailed my Z this weekend, my first time doing a proper detail - wash, clay bar, and wax. I'm very happy with the result:

Replaced front wheel bearings with timken bearings. Night and day difference. No more tire noise, driving and turning is super smooth. Just ordered the rears now.
Lol all of this was done last week. Including buying the car.

Noticed a minor rattle coming from back wheel... Turns out it was loosed bolts on my DSS pro level axels.... Luckily caught it on time, axels are fine and just had to get new bolts...did both sides upgraded to a higher grade bolt..all well now
Had some time away from clients today and finally got around to starting on the touch-up I've put off for a couple months.

Just wanted to thank frivoloushobby for recommending automotivetouchup.com a while back. I got the base and clear coat from them and the stuff is quality - nice even spray application (rattle cans).
When it's final-dry tomorrow, will try and get around to finishing it all up. Then next week will hit the other bumper that got hit by a tractor, shredding the paint. I should note that I am probably the worst body guy around so that's why I posted so many pics of my handiwork because I think it came out pretty decent!

After first polish today... well, it matches the rest of the bumper. Proof that metal body and plastic bumpers have different rates of fade. Can't complain, 13 years old, all original, hey.
S'far as the Ding Dongs. Awesome. The tire of my peoples.
But yeah, while I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, they did their job of getting my Z32 around.... and even took some Oakland hills abuse without complaints.
And at a cost of about $250 for all four with M&B, they served their commuting purpose.
Was a good weekend. Installed SPL solid diff bushings, art pipes and a tdx2.
Removing the oem cats was cake. All of the bolts broke first time once I figured a way to get a solid seating and plenty of leverage. Extensions, swivels and cheater bars were all involved of course. Got 5 from underneath and 1 from the engine bay on the drivers side.
Diff bushing install was sketchy. Drilling/cutting them out wasn't fun but it did work. I opted not to drop the subframe and just went at it. Crafted a puller that failed... just cut it out after that. Froze all the solid bushings over night and popped them in the next day. The 4 on the ears were easy. The big one, not so easy. Sanded the subframe pretty good and then put wd-40 on it. Ended up bolting the provided puller plate from SPL onto the back of the big bushing and hammering on that with a mini sledgehammer. After about 5 or 6 good whacks it was in.
After that it was all downhill. Torque'd everything back on and lined up the tdx2. Fit and finish was excellent... Those included V clamps are very nice. Cranked it when it only had the art pipes installed...pretty loud, ha.
The art pipe tdx2 combo is something else. Not worth trying to explain it in text. I'd never heard one in person before yesterday and was blown away. I figured it was going to be good after hearing what people said about it on here but damn... Butt dyno claims it's seeing gains too. Will get it tuned eventually but want to get some other stuff first.
