That's not a bad start. By the time it's all said and done you may get your monetary investment back. Obviously you can't factor in the hours of labor.

Installing my kinetics camber/toe kit and spc toe bolts in the morning. Also oem sway bar bushings front and back.

Read a thread that suggested I may not need to install toe bolts (which will be a PITA I'm guessing). But I bought them and I own a dremel so.......

I have the toe bolts sitting around also. Im not excited about altering the holes on the subframe. I kinda just want to make a lockout that puts the spring bucket all the way to one side or the other. I just dont know what side to put that on... (if that made any sense) its been a long day... Been dealing with pains in my *** all week.

Does make sense. I should've bought lockout bolts instead. I didn't properly research the situation prior to purchase. My mistake. I'm very nervous about altering the subframe (dremeling too much).
I'm strongly considering going back with original bolts and seeing if it'll align to spec.

Got the camber arms on and the sway bar bushings. Gonna let my mechanic press out the front ball joints when I do the alignment.

Almost rounded off a bolt getting the toe arms out. Suckers were on there but good.
Not installing the toe bolts. Hoping get to get a good rear end alignment without them.

My new rear upper KYB shock mounts showed up in the mail last night. I've been hearing some clanging around back in that area since the weather started getting cold. I figure I'll be swapping them out this weekend.

RE: the angry car, the TPMS light went on when I was playing the song "Fame" on my way home a few nights ago. I figure it was just a coincidence, but still...

Thats what happens when you have lug nuts that are not very tight, they break off, and your wheel falls off.

I am super slow, this is how far I got in the rain today.




Maaged to get 2 of 6 catalytic converter bolts off. Rounded off one... Not cool.

I disagree, since I've seen the same bitcha$$ behavior on both sides. I blame all the "Every Kid Deserves a Trophy" parents. They've raised an entire generation of pu$$ified kids that live and exist in their own bubbles.

Got the Z back from the shop installing the new JWT clutch and flywheel. Dropped it off running perfectly with zero CELs and sadly that wasn't how it was returned. P0011 and P0021 codes, zero power whatsoever and a harsh bucking/jerking at 2500rpm.

Looked into it and since the only thing that happened between it working flawlessly and having problems was the install, the culprit makes sense. The flywheel was not properly aligned with the crank marker and is causing all of my symptoms. Seems to be fairly common (at least 5 instances on forums found in 2 minutes of searching). Now I just have to convince the shop...

That sucks Colton hopefully they stand by their work and fix it right.

Sooo I got 3 of the 4 front bleeders off problem free... The 4th on took about half the top aluminum threads with it on the way out... The aluminum is one with the bleeder, I threaded in a clean bleeder and it seems to be fine but doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies...

Started taking apart and cleaning up A rear caliper... Had to fight with the pins holding the pads for like an hour before I finally got them out. Don't know how they got so stuck inside.

Dude sorry to hear that. I had some shoddy work done during my jwt install as well.
Then I got accused of being a "poor customer" for daring to complain about it here on the forum.
It definitely stings when you get your car out of the shop and it won't make the trip home. Hopefully they back their work and fix it.
Me personally, I'd pay the money and go elsewhere. That's just how I am once I've been burned at a place.

Like the look and it’s definitely a little heavier. Taking a little getting used to...very different feel from the ball shape of the Leopard. All good though.

I'd love to but I'm not in a great financial situation to shell out another $500 to have it fixed properly. I'll be back in Monday to see if they will stand by their work. I have forum threads galore as my ammo. If not, I'll drop the trans here at home and fix it.

I got lucky on mine. I was able to retap the aluminum threads on the transmission bushing mount and torque the bushing to spec. Had to toss a brand new poly bushing and I felt fortune I didn't damage the driveshaft or the motor mounts on the drive home.

I've like the idea of a turbo Z. Nothing crazy but, just a good power balanced set-up with low psi.
