Is this totaled??

^^This man tells the truth. I talked to a couple of body shops, insurance people, and they told me the same thing. They don't use kbb to estimate the value of the loss, they start from where my home address is, and start looking around the dealerships for pricing.
When I asked if the adjuster will try to lowball me, they scoffed at that idea. I am their customer, and they wouldn't want to screw me over since I have to keep paying them when I get my next car.
Anyways, car is totaled :[

Thanks bro. Honestly I would have rather broken my arms/legs and kept the car.
I'm not sure, I was gonna have it completely paid off next month, so I was looking forward to no payments. I really want another z/g, but will most likely use that money for a fuel efficient, used, slow car.

Lol I agree payments mines not paidt but hope soon. I'm sure you can find an older z with a bit more miles and pay cash with the settlement. I'm upset at how low you can buy a z for now.
.my daily driver is older and gets 30 mpg. It's old and beat up but paid for. I would at least get something you'll enjoy driving everyday.
Id look into rsx, celica, civic, or maxima.

I have an 05 Pontiac sunfire as a DD. It looks pretty silly parked next to my Nismo and people laugh at it all the time.... but when i get 570 miles on a tank and a half of gas on a road trip, then I'm the one laughing lol

Not to sound condescending, but you're wrong. The reason I can tell you this is because it's actually my job - I'm an adjuster at one of the biggest insurance carriers in the US. I deal with total losses every single day that I'm at work.
We, and the company that writes the T/L valuations (Mitchell, which is partially owned and backed by JD Power), don't use KBB, NADA or Red Book - it's illegal in CA. The data comes from local dealership quotes because that's ultimately who a person would be buying their replacement auto from if they were to try and buy the same car again (which is the expectation we are forced to assume in the situation of a total).
I don't know about who you work for, but we're not paid to take money from our customers because we would lose retention by pissing them off. We're paid to make sure that we keep them satisfied and do what's fair. Yes, cost effectiveness comes into pay when it comes to repairs - non-OEM bumpers, plastics etc, but not when it comes to total losses.

But that is a good thing if you know how to part out a car if they let you keep the car.
The problem is you'll need to spend the time to part it.
