Paint will look great, but please ...oh please select your wheels wisely! ...That car above looks like crap with over sized wheels that took a page out of the ghetto south magazine! It removes all the sexy lines the car once had...

Well lets see.....a lot more body work, prime, block, re-prime, block, then jambs and so on. So some time towards the end of the year or next?

Ha, I'm kidding. There's a ton of work involved in these. It's good to post the process so others can see whats involved. So when they see that hefty price tag they wont be so shocked. Especially when factoring in the price for materials.

Thats why i post every step, :

order ALL the parts before starting at the bodyshop. including bolt, braket, wheaterstripe, etc

be ready to double your initial budget

My Chevelle Yenko 1969 took 3 years and 50K, waiting for parts and money

Compare to 2-3 months for the Z , with all the parts and money in hand

But a good project worth waiting

My 350 took 6 months but it was in really bad condition.... it was worth the wait. Sit tight and let them do their job.

You should have looked into the INGs fenders as they are similar to what you have. Would have saved you time and maybe some money with the work and other set of fenders you purchased. Any update on wheel choice?
