Default upgrading cams tips/advice.

how you guys doing, I'm in the process of installing Tomei G1 procams 272* - 10.5mm lift .(intake-exhaust). Now I do have some basic mechanic experience so far I've been using the 350z manual to guide me.However I'm looking for some extra tips/advice that can help are welcome. Now the reason I choose this cams was because the guys at Z1motorsports said it was my best choice since I'm gonna be running stock valve and springs and also because they already tuned a DE 350z with the same cams and Vortech and they got really good results. thanks in advance.

If you don't know how to do this off hand. I would suggest getting an expert to do it. Cams is something you really don't want to F**K up. They are easy, yes. But you need to have the correct tools and know how.

I use the JWT Cams with my Vortech. Had ZCargarage do it though. I did't want to chance it myself. There's several of us all the same. The S1 and S2 Cams do great with the Vortech. The Tomei Cams are excellent too, I just went with with the track guys and the shop suggestion also. Had mine over 2 years now, and upgraded, and at 491 hp. You will enjoy them and Z1motorsports has a good rep, so you can look forward to a great product. You might ask them for advice also, as they should be happy to give you some on the products they sell. Check them out.

I was going to go with JWT s2 but decided to follow Z1 advice I'm also upgrading oil pump and going with 2.87 pulley to compensate the lost of boost. one question, what SC trim you had? I'm thinking if I should upgrade to SI impeller even thought I think I might be alright with the one I have since I'm in stock internals don't want to put that much pressure on the engine.
