0-60 times
So, I went out the other day and practiced 0 to 60 and a little launching (60 ft times). Last time I did this, I was using stock gears and crappy tires. Last summer, my 0-60 was around 5.7, lowest being 5.5 sec. 60 ft time at the track was a 2.25.
So the other day with new tires and 3.9 gears, ran a 5.3 0-60 and a 2.1 60 ft. launching needs work, and I think I can get 0-60 down to 5 sec.
Anybody else ever go out and try this?

Yeah, I got JWT popchargers. Not that they add much hp but they look really good in the bay and the make the car sound amazing. Also just bought an HKS replica exhaust. Pretty pumped about that. When it gets here, ill post what I think about it. Ive heard good things so far.

I think with some practice, i can get it down to a 5.1 on the street. On the track, im willing to bet flat 5 but ill only care about 60' and ET at that point. My goal is to have an average 60' of 2.0 sec by mid summer. My transmission is rough shifting though, so i feel its holding my times back. I bought a new shift **** that about 9 in long so hopefully it will give me the leverage to quicken my gear changes with the way my tranny is. Still awaiting its arrival

Havent made it to the track yet this year. That being said, its only been open once. 14.1 was what I ran last year. However, had shitty tires and a passenger. Before upgrades as well besides clutch and intakes

Yeah, i still have to get to fourth. So the good thing about these is ill get there faster. Lol, i heard the usual is about .2-.3 seconds off the ET. Plus i wont be running with a passenger so thats another .2 right there. And new exhaust and tires should help me off the line. So im looking at .5-.6 off my previous time of 14.1 in a perfect world. In reality im going for 13.8. Im pretty confident I can get there too. Ill be out at the track this friday. Ill post my time slips
