nissan should have done that from the factory, in my opinion. it shows off that exhaust you spent a ton on, and if you ever get a nismo rear diff cover you see that also......

and think of it this way, without the stock muffler there, that little flap of plastic hanging down is causing resistance and drag, almost acting like a parachute.......

i have no scientific evidence but it makes total cents (inside joke, you may learn one day)

it feels smoother and the engine revs more freely. This is making me want to do clutch/light flywheel wheel! I would say the word is peppy lol

Ok, so I've done some research on this elusive little bracket, which turned out to probably be a baaaad idea, because I came across all of these horror stories and pictures of people's mint-condish (test pipes, cat-backs, y-pipes, etc.) cracking and breaking and busted up at the seams from not having this flippin' little piece attached.

I don't have mine that should have come with the car. I've searched the Internet, Craigslist, Amazon... Only place I could even find ONE was Ebay and it was for an 04. Will this fit my 06? Better yet, do you know if a muffler shop can create one?

Exhaust tone after ART pipe installation.... video quality is kinda crappy cause it was getting dark

Different angle...

Honestly though, the video sound doesn't do it justice. It sounds way better in person. .... and yes, I know I shift slow, I'm working on it lol ... Be kind!

There's a little bit of rattling going on under the driver's seat right about the area where the art sits. Any idea what that could be? Happens at about 3k rpm and seems to get a bit worse as the car heats up. Doesn't do it all the time but often enough.

Yep, took it to the shop... The set up is such a tight fit that the heat shield on drivers side didn't have enough clearance. Dude took the flat end of the crowbar and rubber mallet and banged the heat shield a few times giving it about another 1"... Problem solved

There is a bolt that needs to be cut down on the drivers side.. my guessing is the shop didn't know that and didn't trim it... wanna make a wager on it??
