Default how difficult would this be to fix..

I messed up today. 3 weeks of owning my z, and babying it to death i messed up. I was getting in the car, and somehow one of my keys stabbed into the vinyl on the door creating a triangular shaped tear in my door...its about 1"x1". It needs to be fixed. Would this cost alot? What are the options for repairing this...thanks as always guys. I can upload photo if need be.

Thats a pretty big gouge from just a key lol. Post a picture.

Best bet would be to buy a new door panel at a junkyard or something. Truth is, most places will probably make you buy the complete door.

You could try and find someone parting out a z on here maybe for a track build or something. That would probably be your best bet.

You can try Turbo Toys in Tampa. He's got used ones, and I believe he'll ship, too.

I'd call rather than email.

Thanks!! I appreciate it man. I think honestly im going to try and patch it, ultimately i intend to replace the entire door panel. So i figure why not, itll look decent, suffice for a while, or look terrible, and ill just replace it. Its shaped like this symbol " > " the key kind of stabbed it, slid, so it tore it in that weird shape. Its still attached, just not sure if i could get it flat again.

Could you cover the damage with an emblem, like this, putting one on the passenger panel too?

I think that would be something to consider for now. I spent 250 on breaks and all like a week a go so ill have to wait about a month to feel secure enough to buy another panel. Those are my ultimate intentions. Im going to see if i can findout if they would stick on that vinyl. If so, thats probably going to be my solution for now. Thanks alot for the link. Very nice decals.
