Did you rent ski's? Would be rather challenging shoe horning them into a 350.
No way, that's cheating.

Fitted two snowboards in, boots, clothes, and food ;D

Just sorted out a local tuner that I can work with when doing any mods, time to get designing my CAI ;D

I am aware I can buy one... But I also believe I should be able to make one for a fraction of the cost, lots of time will be spent designing it

Im sure you know but keep in mind that bolt ons do very little to vq engines so don't expect much. I have a plenum spacer, pop charger, hi flow cats, and invidia Gemini tru dual exhaust and the power increase is there but its minimal.

Yup, well aware of that.

Not after massive gains. If I were I would be looking into a VK swap, 1uz swap, LSX swap, or maybe even an exotic sort of engine.

I'm purely after a tiny increase, if I can get 300whp N/A I will be stoked.

if you do everything I have plus mrev2 lower plenum, unorthodox crank pulley, and some upgraded cams you should be able to hit 300 with a tune might need to go lightweight flywheel and upgraded clutch on a de

That's good going to shoehorn all of that into the Zeddy.

Will be very interested to hear you get on with making a CAI. Keep us posted over in Kiwiland too.

You should become a financial member of the club over the pond, then you can come along to the garage meet in a weeks time (said with my club captains hat on), which by the sounds might be very interesting for you.

Will PM you regarding becoming a financial member shortly.
Don't worry I will get lots of photos, lots of amateur drawings and lots of mock ups for kiwiland, instagramland, and my350zland.

I like double posting!

I was lying in bed last night (I have insomnia so little to no sleep is achieved each night) and I was thinking about some cool little personal touches to the car. And I was thinking about "welding art"

So.. Here is a (rough as guts) model of what I plan on replicating for the side emblems..

Finally replaced the rear speakers.

Such a difference <3

Cleaned the interior out.

Did some skids.
Been a good weekend.

And, to further get myself into debt, I have purchased a warehouse!
Very excited for this, going to run air throughout the shop portion of it, airtools FTW.

Also will be holding a Z Club day there in December some time!

Repainted a couple of the interior parts a nice piano black as pictured in my next post.

Interior is half done!

Painted up all of the boring grey plastic on the doors a nice piano black, adds a tiny bit of class to the car.
Doing small things to keep my motivation going is getting hard!

Speakers work. So stoked.

Still figuring out wtf my car is... I have found 2/4 bose speakers, no bose amp but a bose sub.
Mucho confuso.

Anywho, finished off the passenger side. still have a bit of fab work to do for the tweeter mounting. But I can safely say 90% there for 50% of it

Just doing the mods I can do that are on the cheap as I have a few overhead costs at the moment!

Including a 1951 Ford Prefect..

Performance upgrades are still happening, however they have come to a rather sudden halt.

I have been working on a ute for a charity run with a good friend of mine for the past few months, we leave for a 800km round trip on friday and the ute still hasn't started!

Once this weekend is over (cannot bloody wait) the 350z will be getting a lot... And I do mean, a lot, of attention.

IIRC Bose usually has self powered speakers instead of just one isolated amp. Whether it be in the HU or on each speaker individually.

I may be wrong but thats how i remember the bose setup working on my maxima but that was years ago.

Finally sorted - kind of.

Moulded the triangular plastic piece to fit a tweeter nicely.

Just picked up some new tail lights, for a steal I might add.

Annd settled on the warehouse yesterday!
