Destroyed the warehouse!
Done some burnouts in the warehouse.

My clutch is starting to slip, but I'm okay with that for now..

Need to weld the diff, need to order some parts from Z1.

Have some LEDs going in as my rear turn signals because I am bored and it's a simple mod.

Now for pictures!

Decided to abuse the car this week, track time.

I need a break from work, so I'm taking a day off and going to slay some rubber at the race track.
With the preparation for this.. I have a single day to get it up to spec.
Which includes head unit install... Because it's the only chance I have to work on the car pre xmas >.<

So - cold air intakes will be going on, brake fluid flush, etc

Fun times ahead.

Will definitely be at the track with you guys in Feb!

Destroyed my rear tires. Which pisses me off a bit, I was hitting the cars top speed before halfway down the front straight, the brakes were fading, but still effecient.

Things I noted I need to do.

Brake ducting.
Brake pads.
Remove speed cut.
New Seat.
Harness.
Stiffer suspension.
Sway Bars.
More powarrrrrr

Phew - my bank account is really hurting!

I just picked up a few new bits and pieces.. Work Wheels, SSR wheels, Control arms, Coilovers, brake pads.

So - this weekend... I am going away! ****K

Next weekend, I am staying home and giving the entire car a nice overhaul.

New coils, wheels, everything!

Excited!

So, onto the wheels!

They are pretty cool wheels - picked them up for a steal of $250 WITH tires!

I need to get them relipped, and some bolt on spacers, but that will all happen in due course.

Pictures are more fun than anything else.

This is what I started with..

After a couple of hours of sanding and polishing I got to this!

Is no one interested any more? Am I boring you?

Good.

March 14th, my old man and I are headed down south. Not for a brokeback mountain re-enactment but for some track days, 4 track days across the South Island, two weeks of touring the beautiful South Island and hitting fun tracks!

I have been working slowly on getting the car ready for the track, but I also forgot how much I loved the low life... So the car has been slammed since the first of January. I had a tire slashed by a piece of glass two days ago which prompted me to pull the car from the road, and get to work on it. Last night I managed to drop the coilovers out and the control arms, raise the coilovers 2.5 inches, installed front upper control arms (camber adjustable) and started working on my brake ducting.

With the blown tire, I needed to get some new tires on the car.. And I knew the tires I wanted for the track days. R888's however, for a set of these I was looking at $1,600.. Couldn't quite justify that, so I picked up some new (to me) volks.

These should be on the car next week, will be working on it over the coming nights and will be sure to get some photos up!
