Hey hey hey
Hey all!
My name is Chris, as my username suggests, I have been around the Mx5/Miata scene for the most part of my car life, however, I have also had two s14s, one turbo s14, a bmw e30, 3 miatas, an Audi A6 and a Nissan Primera P11.
That brings me to today, I now have in my lucky hands a 2007 Fairlady Z
brembo brakes, 18 inch forged wheels, VDC button, cloth seats, not too sure if it's a track spec or not but god is it fun, and god is it fast.
I will use this thread as an updated thread for my fairlady, and mx5 race car
Pictures will be uploaded once I get home tonight!

This is bad, I'm already searching Japanese auction sites...
Gah.
Simple plans with this car..
A proper exhaust, two pipes from the engine.
Plenum Spacer
CAI
Custom Gauge faces
A better stereo
And the ricer mod... Tints.

I tried a Miata, but I was always pressing the wrong pedals with my 13EE shoes.
The 350Z was the next step up in size, a LOT more comfortable, and has a great engine/auto transmission. I hope your new ride gives you much pleasure.

I too was in the miata scene before my Z. I sold my old one to get a Z since my miata sucked to daily and a couple months ago I came across a CLEAN '97 M with hardtop for a steal and had to buy it so I am back in both. Regardless of what people think, The Z and the miata are two very different cars but both are VERY fun.

i want to see a pic of the hood at a different angle....when not raining, and in light. i cant tell if there is a bulge in it or not, if not then it is def an 06.
does it have dual intakes? since you mentioned plenum spacer it is not an HR, they dont make them for the HR motors

I'm on my second 06 350z with a rev up. I thought the Rev ups were OK except for the few that had oil burning issues...like my first one? Now I'm worried, Am I missing something?

Mostly just the oil burning issue being a big deal, and, theyre torque-less. 260ft pounds. Not the that the other engines are monsters, but losing any ft pounds on already weak tq platform is not good IMO.
