Some day you will figure it out when some kid smashes your car and you find out he didn't have any insurance. Karma is a ***** and she will catch up to you.

Actually if you total your car, the bank will find out you didn't have collision and your parents are on the hook for the balance.
Get it?

Btw, it wasnt purchased through a dealer. It was private party.
The loan comes from a bank. Why do they care if i have full coverage or not? Either way if it's totalled or still being driven, i HAVE to pay the note.

You'll need to spell it out a bit more for him. We are dealing with a whole new level of stupid with this one.

Exactly! You don't own the car... The bank owns the car. Till it's paid off you are driving around in THEIR property... besides that is the friggin law. If you can't afford the insurance you can't afford the car.
