Default door not shutting flush?

okay guys so i recently took my wrap off and i had to undo so parts and put them back on...

Now my door is not closing flush? I've tried messing with the catcher and it helped a little bit..

Any other techniques?

That sucks, I took off the wrap on my car twice and didn't have issues. Check the door side of the latch.

Apparently to adjust the hinges you have to take your whole fender off...

Would messing with the adjuster bolts even work with something like this?

The door needs to go in more...

From what I understand the adjuster bolts only move the door from left to right and up and down...

What parts in the vicinity of the door were undone to remove the wrap?

On the other end of the door, nearest the front of the car, is it flush there, or raised as well? Is the end you photographed he only part that's not sitting flush? Did any of the disassembly involve the striker plate in the door sill?

I ask because I had occasion to replace one of my doors and have some familiarity with the issue.

It's flush on the other side, and yes I removed the striker plate when I removed the wrap. But I tried adjusting it a bunch of times and still no change...

I believe it will end up being the striker plate.....but first try removing the striker plate and carefully pushing the door closed to see if it will shut with no interference (watch the paint). If it closes flush without the striker plate in, smooth and with no interference, that's the problem.

What is going on???

I really don't want to have to take my whole fender off to fix this...

check all the rubbers around the inside of the door. if something isnt in the right spot it could be holding the door out

Nah.....hinge looks good. As stated, it's likely a seal. Something is folded over or off its lip.

Here's a video of everything,

As you can see everything is lined up and where it needs to be.. I literally have no idea why it's not shutting right.

How about those fasteners along the top edge of the rocker panel? Could those be standing proud enough to inhibit full closure? Maybe it's the angle of the video, but I'd more closely examine the relationship between the aft end of the rocker and the door sill…..maybe it's off there.

are you talking about the rivets in the side skirt?

The side skirt and the rivets holding it in were never touched during the whole process and the door closed flush before.

maybe the striker is bent or something?

could it be something to do with the door handle?

i've tried everything.... so frustrating..
