It's a Touring, which isn't bad, congrats on what sounds like a nice Touring model, at least you didn't get tricked into buying a Base model, the best you can hope for is to get the difference between a 35th Anniversary and a Touring, threaten them that if they don't pay you the difference that you will take them to court and they will lose their dealer license.

You were falsely advertised a 35the year edition and sold a touring. Talk with the gm of the dealer you purchased from.

It seems to me like the original poster should have verified the correct equipment was on the car prior to purchase. Everything listed is easy to verify other than the special upgraded engine and I'm not sure that is really listed on the window sticker. People need to realize that dealers don't really know which model they have on the lot and that the purchaser really needs to verify everything before buying the car.
You have a point. They very clearly stated their slip may have errors/omissions/additions and it was the buyer's responsibility to bring them to the salesperson's attention at the time of sale.

Yeah but depending on the state, the dealership may not be legally able to make this claim. If the OP is really interested in pursuing this matter, he will probably have to research that further.

They also advertised it on multiple Web sites as 35th w/o the disclaimer.

Aside from Korner Cutters "Your ****ed, deal with it" attitude, I want to thank everyone for the help. I will update later on how things go.

The worst you could do is call them on a bait-and-switch then.

Floor mats - whatever.
I would try to get them on the brembos and the 18" 5 spoke wheels.

You might already have the bronze badges and not realize. The bronze is not very obvious, its not like a very obvious bronze color. The badges just don't have a bright silver ring like the other models do. The black portion of the badge might look slightly different, but its very subtle overall.

You don't have navigation? My 35th has nav but I'm not sure if that came with all anniversaries or not.

My plan is to go after them for the things they don't want to fix, then maybe settle for cash. I figure about 4G should offset 10k worth of what is supposed to be there.

Rims
Engine
Brakes

Does anyone know if the differential is different?

It's should be the same, I imagine they would both have the limited slip differential, I know it is standard on your Touring.

Make sure that they are aware brembos are 1000-1500 USED.
Wheels: 500 - 1000 USED
Engine difference - no clue on price
Tan and Black leather anniversary seats (heated) - no clue on price

Well we spoke with the used car Manager last night, and they seemed genuinely surprised at what has happened. The part-owner/manager is on vacation this week, so we are going to meet with him Monday. I have to say that all the interactions we have had with them so far have been very pleasant. I'm hoping it stays that way.

Travlee: Thanks for the suggestion, I am going to do exactly that.

JDMlov1: We live a small city, but know a lot of people. I did a quick survey of the facebook accounts we can have people post directly on, and using my wifes account, mine, and most of her very large family, we can hit about 1500-2000 people local to our area. I'm really hoping it doesn't come to this, I would rather handle it directly with them where everyone is satisfied.

If you decide to out them and destroy their reputation over FB, you are going to make it difficult if you decide to take them to court. Think about all your options very carefully before taking any action.

The fact is it was marketed and sold to you as a 35 year anniversary edition. The touring version is worth inherently less in the market so you overpaid by thousands. It's too costly and will never be a true anniversary car. They either need to allow you to return the car without hassle or give you the difference of what the touring is actually worth.

I agree, they are clearly stating it as a 35th anni model when it isn't, and falsely advertising it as such. They should reimburse you some, or refund the whole car, or you will have to take them to court in which case I don't see how a court would rule in their favor. Even if they have disclaimers telling you to check if everything is there, they clearly sold you something by stating it was a 35th when it isn't. It isn't like it is a 35th and missing parts, it just clearly isn't a 35th.

Some girl in San Fran tried to screw my wife and I over by saying she had a 35th model but I informed her from pics she didn't and she was trying to make someone believe she had a 35th model to get a few thousand extra. To top it off she needed all 4 tires replaced but still wanted way more than even if the tires were new.

I ended up getting a 2006 touring edition with navi in great condition with 80k miles two weeks ago for $11k. Really happy with that purchase and wife loves it. Already blacked out the headlights, did ironman halo, changed amber leds in headlights to white, and added demon eyes.

Hopefully it gets worked out for you brother. Sorry to hear that you got scammed like this.
