Cheap ebay turbo question
I know that there are a bunch of different options and brands out there when it comes to turbos and superchargers. But I don't really want to pay 5 or 6k or more for a kit, at least right now. I saw this one on ebay for $600. Jw if you guys know anything about it?http://m.ebay.com/itm/400375452453?nav=SEARCH

while there are some brands that are costly just for the name, the majority of companies out there are costly for a reason. you pay for quality, the second you forget that is the second you demolish your car with cheaply made parts that do nothing good just to save money. cheap and car modding don't go together, they never have and they never will.

You had me till you mentioned $600 and ebay. We have gone over these threads before time and time again. Usually people use the ebay kit for the piping and then get all the extras i.e boost controller, charge air cooler (intercooler), turbocharger, injectors, ecu tuning system, blow off valve, oil lines, coolant lines, possibly a new MAF mean for boost depending on levels, a welder unless a shop is doing it then your gonna pay even more, a new radiator, an oil cooler for the extra heat levels to the engine, some heat wrap, and feel free to add anything if I am missing something guys.

You will get much better help from the FI section, and there are even a few budget builds posted here. Read and learn

Not sure if OP is a troll or not, but I'll quote the Nissan Master mechanic that has done the majority of FI cars in our area: "When someone walks in asking about building their engine I ask them what your budget is. If it's anything less than $10K I ask them to leave."

I can't honestly believe that someone is seriously thinking of buying a turbo for $600 and is expecting to bolt it on and all of a sudden have loads of power. Words fail me!!!

This is the cheapest kit you can buy is
http://www.ebay.com/itm/GODSPEED-T3-60-1-03-06-350Z-BOLT-ON-COMPLETE-VQ35-Z33-TURBO-CHARGER-KIT-450HP-/230977440507?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3A350Z&hash=item35c7540afb&vxp=mtr
but even then you need at minimum an LC-1 Wideband/gauge, UTEC, 550cc injectors, make custom graphite v-band gaskets, extra v-band flanges, oild sandwich plate
