Crashed My 350z

Man, 16 and driving a Nissan 350z? And I thought I was the **** when I was 16 driving a MR2 toyota Spyder! And even hotter **** when I was 20 with a Nissan 350z!
Honestly, I crashed my MR2 Spyder 3 weeks after receiving it... For going 55 MPH over the speed limit (of 45) I'm surprised I'm alive and the car took such little pain.
It took the shop 3.5K To fix my toyota up and about 2-3 weeks worth of work, basically replaced everything but the engine. So my best guess will be 3.5K Minimum for a Z sliding off the road and taking damage? Post some pictures?
Honestly, 300 Horses and torque is a little much for a cocky 16 year old --- Coming from someone who crashed at 16 with half that power --- and you should expect to be heckled by the more mature audience here. Honestly man, if you want to race your Z take it a track or a really large empty parking lot. That's where fun is - and it's safe.
(As for where my Toyota is now, a Jetta lost control and pinned me into a tree - and the Jetta a-hole, who tried blaming the accident on me, also bought me a sexy 350Z after Geico slapped her silly for me)

Because you post no pictures and don't really describe the car to help us and the accident excuse is shady at best. Hint hint, never give an exact MPH you were going. We all know you didn't look at that speedometer right before the accident.

the only reason i know the exact speed i was going is because its my school route so i drive it 5 days a week and it is a very routine drive. As for the accident. As i said, people may not believe me but luckily they are irrelevant. Got final word from the shop today. Took a tie rod replacement, new front passenger tire, and an alignment to get it driving. The only other damage is the front splash guard and bumper that i will replace soon.

Personally to me it sounds like you were changing the song or went into lala-land (we all do once awhile) or something similar, went off the road, tried correcting yourself, and ran over something (ditch you said?) and probably didn't think of hitting the brakes until the last second. Again, to me it sounds like you over-exaggerated a small accident and got hailed for it big time. Google 5mph accidents, some of these accidents cost people thousands of dollars. Next time, hopefully there isn't one, be more vague in how the accident happened, and more detailed about the aftermath of it all. Only cops care what happened, everyone else just wants to know the ending. Happy riding kid, treat that Z like you treat your ***** - beat it to hell, have fun, but don't do anything stupid to destroy it!

Shop fixed it up and the car is driving all for just under $400 surprisingly. The bumper would be nice to replace cuz its scratched up and has a crack st the very bottom and I need to get a new fender liner. Will post pics when I'm not busy with Christmas.

it takes a few seconds to type a post such as this one. especially when im already on my computer. To go and take pictures of the damage, or even drive all the way to the shop to take pictures before it was fixed actually takes a considerable amount of time.

Glad you're ok OP. Hope your car will come out fine as well. Disappointing to read of someone's troubles asking for help. Some folk really step up to help, others cynical. So much banter, advice. Yet no pics. Looks like
+1 for FB groups revenge. *slow applause*

I'm 16 and I crashed my dad's Z.
I don't want to use insurance.
Daddy thinks I text too much.
I don't pay attention for long periods of time when I'm driving.
I don't know how fast I was actually going.
I'm not posting any pictures, but I want to know what it will cost to repair the damage I'm not showing you.
