I think most people drive any cars just as hard lol, but like I mentioned I know my way around a jetta pretty well. I looked over this one quite a bit.

FYI - even though it is water under the bridge, the VIN does not indicate trim level on the 350Z......so I don't know what who was checking.....

The VIN can be used to decode trim level when used on Nissan's recall website.

I've seen a few instances where this site is incorrect. It's been said multiple times - the VIN does not include the trim level.

My bahhhd. It's always worked for me in the past, but I'm sure there are instances where it's incorrect.

It does signify the OP's prior wrecked car as a Base.

Also- pics of said Jetta....

yeah, that doesn't exactly look like a place I'd buy a car from, but the Jetta looks nice!

Hope it all works out for ya.

Who in their right mind would buy a prior rental?

In New York you need to disclose the vehicle was rented and sign paperwork. Your Jetta has had 300 previous owners. I always beat the **** out of the rental car.

Well some people yes, not everyone. And if this car was beat to death it would show. There is no wear on anything.

But from the person who pulled the report said it was most likely a rental.

Its listed as this on the carfax.

04/22/2014 OH 97,834 Motor Vehicle Dept. TITLE (Title #:0903758963) REPOSSESSED
05/12/2014 OH 97,834 Auto Auction AUCTION ANNOUNCED AS FLEET/LEASE

So it could of been a lease or a fleet.

maybe lease sense it was repossessed im guessing.

People here seem to beat the rental's up but people I know personally do not.
