Default Trying to Figure This Out...

Hello all. Great forum you have here. I just got this 2003 Nissan 350z Track and there's a signature on the Brake Fluid Cap. I've never seen it before. Can anyone help me identify who it is or what it's for?

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

I'll buy that from you. I'm serious..... $100.

That there is a signature/autograph from Mister K!!! That'd be Yutaka Katayama, "Father of the Z Car"!!! He's been known to sign various anythings (usually parts on cars) when he attended Z gatherings around the world.

If you don't care about it, I'll trade you a brand new brake cover and put cash on top for it. Dead serious.

PM me if you wanna take me up on that offer.

RIP Mister K.

Edit: This isn't about making money on it at all. This is about being a serious fanatic about Mister K and the legacy he left us. He is as revered by some of us as much as Zora Arkus Duntov is to the Corvette crowd! That said, if you don't want to take me up on my offer (heh heh), I'd get a used or new cover and hang that one on the wall!

Mic

DFW - the fact the Mic has the historic background and the desire to take this (dare I say) relic of the Z community I would urge you to complete this transaction simply to preserve this piece of memorabilia...

If you do complete the transaction - I'll paypal you $20 to sweeten the pot! I'd love to see something like this be preserved - what a find!

Wow!
I can't believe someone just happened to buy a car with a part that he signed!
The Nissan dealership that I bought my z from over 10 years ago had a 240z with his signature on the dash and a lot of other miscellaneous parts from various z cars in a display case that he'd signed, I have a pic of the 240z somewhere, I'll try to find it and post it.
That cap needs to go on display!

Rob Fuller at Z Car Garage (San Jose, CA) has an S30 glove box door signed by Mister K on display in the shop.

I was thinking he was trolling from the start. Maybe he knew what it was all along and thought it'd be fun to get a bunch of Z guys up in arms over a piece of automotive memorabilia (that he doesn't have or own). It's an awfully clean battery cover and an awfully high resolution (semi professional) picture for someone to not know what they're taking a picture of

That thought occurred to me too, but I tend to give the benefit of the doubt.

So, OP, if it was a troll, hope you got off on it. And if you did, wow, what a pathetic life.

If it was a genuine question, sell it to me!

Quick reverse image search on Google, and I couldn't find the pic elsewhere. It does look very suspicious though.

There's another guy in DFW who has signatures all over his Z from Nissan guys lol. I can't remember if his brake fluid cover had a signature and if he could have just taken a picture of that guys car.

Are you referring to Mad Mike Taylor? He is/was a personal friend of Mr. K.
