Default Lowballers on Craigslist

So I am trying to sell a clean set of 19" Rays Sport wheels no dents or curb rash, decent front tires and tpms. Some douche on craigalist offered me $500. Voicemail sounded very hood and he said he could only offer that because they are used.

I told him to check eBay and forums to see what they really go for. My question what the **** are people thinking? Lol.

I dont need **** like this when my dad is sick and have much more important things. End rant I hate Craigslist.

Sorry to hear about your dad Oldschool. On the matter of Craigslist, yeah that’s outrageous, you should demand back all the money you spent on that ad!

I understand you get what you pay for and the area I live in in generally lower income but still. I've had good experience in the past using their services.

Eh thats craigslist. I have my set of racing harts for sale on there. Over a year and no interests. Was inly asking 1km these were true jdm and not the RH knock off brands. Anyways reduced the price to 750, sold it for 500.

I see volks, works, bss wheels sits for years at a time with price ranging from 1-1.5k. What is consider a "steal" on forums, cant be sold. Thats just life. People on forum value name brands, to others it just another set of wheels.

you should correct your thread title to include the my350z marketplace....tire kickers and lowballers in the last few years.

I fckin hate CL shoppers! But it is what it is and that's why I have a lot of my stock parts because I'm not willing to settle with their offer.

"I do not respond to lowball offers. If I do not reply, the offer is less than I'm willing to accept"

Problem solved.

Don't post it on craigslist? Either sell it on eBay or on the forum. Craigslist is where the king of lowballer goes.

Oldschool, I am unsure if you know this about me, but my nephew is a Nigerian prince.

Unfortunately all of his bank accounts are currently frozen. He is in a dilemma because he just bought a 350Z but the wheels were stolen and needs wheels to race a Honda 2000 with over 100 grand under the good. He is racing for pinks and if he loses his dad, my brother, will kill him.

If you can send the wheels you are selling to him and then provide me with your paypal account, I will greatly reward you.

Thank you kind sir.

part of my business is selling on craigslist, if they spit out an offer that is too low, just ignore the text and dont respond even if they are willing to increase the price.

wheels dont appreciate in value they depreciate in value because of lack of demand. when their is a lack of demand and you need the money really quickly you have no choice but to lower the price until you receive offers from people. Thats just a free market mentality...if the demand was high and the supply was low you can increase the price easily. its just how it is. and honestly i don't know anybody in their right mind who will spend $1500+ on used rims....

I purchased my nismo v3s on ebay for 850 + 350 shipped. the reason of course is because i particularly liked the design of the rim and they don't produce them anymore and they are quality racing rims. I saw many of the volks going for like 2k+ and i was like.......no ways..why would i purchase volks for 2k+ when i can get nismos for way less and similar quality build...
