I still daily drive it. Decided to keep it. I would hate myself for selling it to buy a FWD....

Oh it's getting rebuilt.... I couldn't turn it in to my insurance just to total it, it go against my insurance, and cost me more. Found all the parts for under 1K. Waiting on my buddy to tell me what we can work out price wise for labor. I'm assuming another 1500-2000 for that.....

Interior will be getting a makeover too. The seat airbag deployed, hopefully I can find a decent set of seats and rails for bigger guys (6'3" 235). The insurance wanted to replace the headliner due to the curtain bag discharging but I couldn't see why.

Wait... Other Z....

I'm thinking of heading down Friday and coming back Saturday evening. I'll have that week off from the Memorial Day weekend. Wish I was taking the Z but the Max will have to do.

Takes way too much time and money to make a car fast. I can go faster for cheaper by eliminating 2 wheels. Plus it is much more fun.

Quick update for everyone, I'm hoping to have the car in the body shop in the next couple of weeks. Unfortunately it will not be out in time for Z Fest , but its a relief to know that she will be getting fixed. I wont have many progress pictures of the bodywork being done but I definitely will ask that some be taken.

Im thinking of picking these up from a local guy but I really need to wait to make sure no additional body work/parts are needed. I don't want an unexpected cost come forth.
