Default Swapping in a auto vlsd into manual car?

Hey guys. I have a 2007 350z base. I've found a vlsd from a 2010 g37s but the question i have is its a 7auto car. Will the different gearing actually slow me down? Should I just wait for a manual diff to come up for sale? I was leaning toward a 370 or g37 due to the higher final gear. Thanks for all your help!

Just swap pinion flanges. I put a vlsd from a 370 in mine. Well worth it. Make sure whoever is doing it is competent. Especially swapping the sensors over.
