Which cars try to race you on the road?

Like I said earlier, people in other cars don't challenge with bullsh*t antics when they see who's behind the wheel.
Yep, the guy that leads out the sport bikes (not racing them just driving ahead of them) on the climb up Hwy 9 and then they give ME a thumbs up at the top.
Modest? Who, me??
EDIT: final comment redacted.

I do agree (despite my adding my two cents... a total of four cents worth).
But actually, I don't see "too many" people talking about accepting said challenges but if left open, yeah, I can see the thread taking a low road....
I shall redact my last commentary.

I just got an aftermarket Y pipe, CAI, and plenum spacer. Already had race pipes and exhaust. So, the car sounds super nice and a little loud now. Last night was my first time really taking it on the road. For some reason a 300c with 22s and very loud subs tried to get me to race. Also, a minivan. I'm not joking. I didn't waste my time.
When I had my Sportbike people in cars tried racing me all the time, but never other bikers. There's a common respect between bikers.
I think people try to race for one of three reasons:
1. They truly believe their vehicle is faster
2. They want to see/hear your vehicle in action
3. They want to see how close their vehicle compares to yours in terms of speed, probably already knowing it's slower
My thoughts last night were "Are you not entertained??? Are you NOT ENTERTAINED?!?!" The Z is loud. Just enjoy the sound of my car while I cruise.

This isn't about street racing as much as it's about idiot ricers trying to street race. A friend of mine asked me if I ever raced anyone in the Z and I was like uhhh no. He races people all the time from what he says. I think it's stupid personally, with lots to lose and not much to gain.

This old dude in my neighborhood drives a Boxster and is always asking me questions like how much hp, what mods have you done, etc., but he has never tried to race me.
That's typically reserved for civics and rustangs.
Although I never indulge them. Sometimes I think it's funny to rev my engine in response like it's go time, and then just pull away slowly and laugh at their fart can exhausts.
I don't have anything to prove. They obviously do.

Street racing? Where did you get that?
Question asks "who tries to 'race' you" not "who do you street race" lol
Race is put in quotations purposefully to present satire because people on the road like to 'compete' with each other to show others who is driving the better car. Here, the word 'compete' is also used figuratively, you see, as there are no judges on the road....
