Its been 7 days now since his initial complaint and still no paypal dispute.. honestly willing to work it out with him but not willing to refund him $40. Not sure if I should even try to work things out with how things have gone. All he has been doing is messaging me with the same crap.
I'd cancel cc anbank account tied to PayPal, just in case. GL

I already lowered it 20 dollars from what I asked. Now he wants me to lower it $40 more dollars for a total of $60 and I told him Im not willing to do that. I told him to return it for a full refund but I think hes trying to keep it and get some money back.. He keeps threatening me about paypal disputes and the fact I shipped it from work(?) Didn't know that was breaking the law. He refuses to send it back but keeps wanting money. Would work with him but hes already crossed that line by threatening me so I just want him to send my console back so I can send him his money back and I can move on from this bs.

don't send him any money obviously
let him open a dispute. in this particular situation, it works in your favour. you are already agreeing to a refund upon return, which PayPal sees as the most amicable solution; he gets his money back, and you get your item back another chance to sell
it would be a different story if you were trying to fight it. an example of why everyone says PayPal sides with the buyer is that while he cannot prove that he did not add those (or any new) scratches himself after receiving it, you cannot prove that those scratches were not there all along (unless you had dated photos of before and after wrapping, and proof that you showed him these prior to purchase). in such a case of he said she said, they trust the buyer`s claim
i have been in this situation before. someone bought something, literally a month later opened a dispute said there was a stain, he never used it in the whole month he had it. PayPal said okay and the buyer was allowed to return it for refund. *******s like to try and rent things, or in your case get another discount after the fact
he will have to pay the return shipping out of his own pocket, and provide a tracking number. since he was being such an ******* up to this point, if it does get so far as him returning your item, record yourself receiving and opening the package, to ensure that he did not send you an empty box or something random
good luck

This is what happens when 350z becomes so cheap, burger flippers can afford it. Low life like him needs to be put in jail.
Not much you CAN do. I mean you can try to pm an admin and see what happens, and then when a paypal case IS open, give me EVERY message you have from him. Explains the situation to paypal and hope they favor in your side. Other than that. Not much.
Lowlife like him will always be around, nothing we can do...

what's gives you the right to talk trash about people who make less than you? lots of peoe like these cars and want to buy them. not everyone makes 6 figures. I guess you think your "middle class " since you make a thousand more dollars a month then the rest. cmon man be humble why sheet on the less fortunate. if your not rich then you ain't far from broke.
Like i already explain before, im not bashing people who make less then me, im am bashing the type of people in the type of jobs that likes to place blames on others.
I dont care if youre making 5 bucks an hour, i dont care if youre making 7 figures, if he is acting like a lowlife, then ill treat him like one.
Fact is, study shows that the lower income bracket "poverty" are more likely to commit crimes. Study also shows that teens are more likely to make bad decisions. These are facts that are backed by science

Sadly I've met a few guys like this dude.
Big expectations and entitled to thinking they can work a refund and still keep the product.
This kids post history is kind of funny. He seems to like to short cut a lot of things and ghetto rig them. Then sell it after he's done messing with his mods to start a new ghetto DIY venture. With his questions I'm going to put good money he's no older than 23.
