If u prefer the auto, then that's all u. It's ur car and everyone has their preference. I just prefer a manual when it comes to performance cars. I mean yea GTR is auto, but that's a whole another level beast.. Lol well good luck with the car.

Actually, the car picked me. LOL I didn't go looking for it, just got lucky and my neighbor decided to sell it. I made an offer the other day and she accepted it. I will not say claim the 350Z ownership status yet until the title is in my hand. Now at 60 years young.. SURPRISE, I've been rowing boats long enough. Just wish it was like a dual clutch trans Ferrari with paddle shift. Yeah man, that's the ticket. LOL

Change the rear diff out to a 6MT VLSD 3.5 pumpkin or one from a MT 3.69 G37/370z. Will make a world of a difference in your 5AT.

Changing the rear diff doesn't mean it will turn your car into a manual, it'll still be auto, with better gearing. Don't worry you'll still have one free hand while driving.

Oh, thought you were saying to change trans and rear end. LOL I can say that it's getting a shift kit install for now and a big brake kit. Debating on doing the plenum spacer and coilovers.

I just had the car inspected at Hills Garage and all it needed was new belts and replacing fans because one is starting to go out. Finally got new tires, michelin pilot sport a/s 3. Felt like I was in a different car afterwards. The 8 year old bridgestones were severely dry rotted and made the car ride like it had no suspension.

You are joking right. Just trying to mess with me.

It's a boat load of fun without any effort. Just like driving a Ferrari 458 in auto mode. Just not ahh... as quick. LOL

I can't wait to have the shift kit install. Heck I might even install a paddle shifter kit too. Voila, poor man's Ferrari.

Thanks for the compliment. I should do a progress thread. In the process of installing coilovers, new calibers and rotors for now. Next will be wheels and shift kit. In the spring it will get a repaint.
