Default Evap can relocation

So Greddy makes a bracket specifically for this but, they don't sell it, they only include it with their exhaust systems has anyone relocated this thing without the bracket? or have any suggestions on how to do so?

I'm thinking of maybe just fabricating my own bracket with steel tubing or flat iron but, wasn't sure if there's a better way.

I want to relocate it because my exhaust is pretty close to it and that bump into each other with every little bump in the road. super annoying.

Not sure if you already know this but this is how the bracket is mounted underneath, maybe this'll give you an idea on what to make. You're better off making your own bracket to mount the evap box. I was fortunate to have the H bracket included with my exhaust purchase.

i had seen an image like this, yeah. and it does make sense that this is probably the only method of relocating it without it being a massive PITA. Alright, then i'll just get something made up at work.

i got some heat wrapping tapes to wrap the pipe section that's near the box. it's been holding up well so far after a couple months. if you don't wanna go through the whole process of relocating it, that could be an option for you too.

I thought about doing that, but the problem is that my exhaust clunks against the box on just about every bump. It's extremely grating after a little while, unless my music is very loud.

are you already using the nismo exhaust hanger? those are supposed to be stiffer so the exhaust wouldn't be bouncing around as much. and if the exhaust are hitting the box, you will probably have to heat wrap it for now anyway before the box melt.

I have also read that people were able to somehow move the box a little bit more towards the outside when i was reading up how people put on their titan r1. but it turned out i just had to wrap it and be fine even without the stiffer hangers.

what exhaust do you have?

i could try stiffer hangers, that's a good idea. i'll also look into whether or not i could move the box over a bit.
