There have been a few instances brought to my attention with Fidanza model flywheels timing ring bolts coming loose and causing issues. This can damage crank sensors and other items if the bolts do come out.

Trying to be proactive here and help you guys before you have an issue.

Any 370Z 350Z G37 G35 Fidanza flywheel could have this issue, These flywheels also come with more recent South Bend SS Street style clutch kits.

You can repair this before it happens without pulling the transmission out of the car.
On back of the oil pan there is an metal inspection plate in which you can remove to access these bolts. Remove one 10mm head bolt, Remove metal cover, Rotate engine, remove one bolt at a time with an allen wrench, Loctite threads with red high strength loc-tite and reinstall, Turn engine to access next bolt, repeat.

Any kits purchased from us as of 6-27-16 have been checked for loc-tited bolts and/or repaired before shipping as well. So if you have purchased from us after this date you do not need to worry about this.

Is there a date range that the South Bend Kits contained these flywheels? Or just any kit before 6-27-16?

Would be about the last year or so, The older South Bend SS Street kits had a different aluminum flywheel and would not have this issue.
