Default Need help!! Gtm Twin turbo De

Was on dyno last week and we hit 23lbs and it'll fall to 8lbs, it want hold boost at all, we took all piping off and checked for boost leaks and there was no cuts or holes n Ic pipin...:: I have brand new gtx28s only 100 miles on both.... Going to check wastegates today

That's a bummer to hear Javier, probably better to move this thread to the FI sub-forum.

But anyhow, wonder if the wastegate springs are bad? From what I recall before your setup was holding boost just fine on the GT28's right with the same wastegate springs?

Sounds like a coupler with a defect. These can be very hard to identify as they only split open under high pressure. You may need to do a pressure / smoke test.

Ok bro thanks, soon as I get off work n a few I'm pulling wastegates, springs are new I just bought them, so we shall see

I have a GTM turbo kit on my Z, 500 RWHP on and HR. I had a bunch of problems and then I installed the HKS EVO boost control and now ZERO boost issue.
