350z Acceleration Question
I test drove a 2016 370z recently and noticed the 0-60 isn't faster - 5.0 for 370z vs 5.1 for my 350z.
However, the 370z felt considerably faster in terms of acceleration and overall "feel" from the drive. My car feels rather clunky compared to the 370z's acceleration.
Is this a suspension related difference? If so, what are some recommended upgrades? If not, what should I look into?
Thank you and I sincerely appreciate your time.
By the way, my z has 90092 miles.

Z34 uses a significantly greater amount of aluminum and composites to give it a more composed ride through reduction of chassis flex. While the acceleration isn't significantly greater, the responsiveness and tactile feel is greatly enhanced.
It'd be difficult to raise the responsiveness of the Z33 to the level of the Z34 without a fair amount of chassis stiffening - which presents the other edge of the sword - added weight.
However, suspension modifications (along with appropriately light wheels and proper tires) always make the Z33 more fun to drive when done right.
People scoff when I tell them my Z34N is/was a superior car to any of my Z33s but you've experienced it. My Z33 Nismo, with the lessened chassis flex is close though.

The final drive for the z34 is 3.7, the z33 is 3.5. I imagine that plays in as well.

Whats the gearing like in the trans though? When I drove them both stock for stock the 3.7 was faster yes, but im sure thats more because of the power and less because of the gears, It does about the same speed redline in 2nd as my HR.
