Default Just Got upRev ... Not working at all

I've plugged in the cable and it is still saying "Cable Not Connected". Tried through the cable management and it still does not work, i even went to install windows 7 just because I see they show no support under windows 10. It installed fine and even did the uprevupdaterfix.exe but refuses to work correctly. When I plug the cable to the computer, you hear that beep noise so it knows it's there as well as checking the device under the windows device management and it shows "working properly" so no bad driver install or anything.

Am I missing something or is there some process im missing? btw, I tried another obdII cable just for giggles and it loaded fine so it's no power issue between the ign and obd connector.

thanks

I had an issue simialr to this a while back. Make sure to use a healthy laptop (plenty of RAM, runs decently fast) and windows 8. Also try uninstalling and reinstalling the software directly from uprevs support page. LASTLY, plug in your cable along with the obd2 connector to the end of it (doesn't have to be connected to the car yet). These are all conditions in which my cable connection works perfectly fine. If that doesn't work, give us more details

Give UpRev a call, they're super nice people and they're there to help you out.

For some reason mine won't work sometimes if it's not plugged in and charging. Might be some power saving deal I don't know. If the battery is it full it works fine

You shouldn't need to dump the ECU on a 350z, that's for newer unsupported vehicles. Just download the rom that corresponds with your ECU part # and you're good to go
