My gems are on those close 5 and mobile deal apps..

I love seeing girls who don't have a clue posting daddy's car of "low miles! Only 200k"

Then they want $8k for a 98 camery beater

Nothing too crazy for this one. I'm not a fan of the spoiler, boobie tail lights, and flight stick looking shift ****, but that's just my humble opinion. I just think it's funny that the seller mentions the "timing belt" was replaced a year ago. Either he was swindled by a mechanic/dealer or really did go through the trouble to have the timing "chain" replaced, which again doesn't need to be done unless there is insane wear on the chain. For 101k miles at the oil change intervals he's claiming, this shouldn't be necessary.

I thought this seemed like a pretty good deal, I've been messaging a bunch of people to gauge interest in a trade for my Harley which I don't ride.

This guy responded quickly and said he was interested in the trade.

Then I started asking questions and his response time increased dramatically and he didn't have answers, didn't know anything about the stereo, which trim level, anything really.

Whatever, still a good deal, I ask him about the Sensor he mentions in the ad, his response is "it's the brake light is on because the parking brake doesn't fit, but the car drives good" then when I asked for clarification on what the **** that meant, and if he knew if there were any codes, and if he would care if I brought my obd2 scanner to see the car, he just disappeared.

Several hours later I saw a new post on the 350z subreddit with the same picture of the gauge/light cluster that he sent me, titled "help! what do these lights mean?"

This is a fun one, aside from being about $3000 to high on his price based on even the quickest glance at comparable cars in the area (147k miles, rebuit title) I enjoyed trying to understand this post.

Right off the bat, some verb-tense agreement issues "has had a lot of things being done" has? as in currently being done, did they finish? had/being? IDK

Then the end of the sentence just slides in and brain ninjas you. The transition of work that was/is being done into "please don't come at me with some weird numbers try to match , willing to negotiate" What constitutes a "weird number"? try to match what? my outfit? the car? a price range you haven't mentioned? Strange place for punctuation to suddenly appear. Again, willing to negotiate what? whether or not someone comes at you? whether or not they should try to match? I'm lost already.

A little picky here, but if there is more than one item, probably PROS and CONS.

OH! Now I see why the price is higher than comparable cars, I bet none of them have new tags AND INSPIRATION been done. "And it is by living through inspiration where you can start uncovering your true calling, so you can live a life that empowers you to fulfill your highest purpose." Guys this car will literally empower you and change your life, also, I heard new inspiration is good for atleast 11 rwhp.

Not sure why you need a new bumper for "some crack on front bumper" personally I would just get some gloves or something and remove that crack from the bumper, definitely don't want to get pulled over by a K-9 officer with that just sitting there.

"not looking for a trade offer unless it's something that will catch my eyes" Sooooo, not looking for a trade offer unless it's something I like, but I will leave you with zero ideas of things I may actually be interested in or considering, so basically come at me with ALL trade offers. Also, eyes? both of them?

I know it's CL but man it hurts to read this one

Odometer says 26,000 miles, barely driven and it needed a new engine? WTF?

OK, so this Z has obviously had a hard life. What I don't get is that he says "the motor and trans are good", but also says the "BCM has water damage". Then goes on to say the engine cranks but won't start, followed up by "don't ask me a million questions."

Well shucks, by the looks of things, I would have a ton of questions to ask about this poor Z, like how did it get water damaged? How is anyone supposed to believe anything said about this Z without asking questions.

Poor Z though. Might only be good for a parts car at this point.

I won't post a link to this ad, because I'm sure it will be down soon, but the text is just too funny. Picture a black 2007 Touring 5AT with trashed front and rear bumpers, scrapes along one side, and black plastidipped OEM wheels. And, it's f'ing filthy. Here's the text:

"Hello,

Looking for a legal trade. If you would like to buy the car it will be sold above KBB value.

Minor Bugs:
Driver door will not open (Normal Nissan & Infiniti Problem)
Rear hatch will not stay up (Normal Nissan & Infiniti Problem)
Crack on front bumper ( Hit a racoon)
Tire pressure light is on (Front driver tire sensor needs replacing)
Car is a rebuilt title bought at Turbo Toys for $20k at 67000 miles

Reason for trade:
Recently moved to another city and the car burns to much gas for me also I need a vehicle with back seats. The car has never had any major breakdowns aside from needing new battery years ago.

This agreement will be a no cash trade no matter if my car is valued higher or if your car is valued higher.

Examples of cars I am looking for: Automatic
Honda Accord, Honda Civic, Mazda 3, Mazda 6, Nissan Sentra, Nissan Altima, Hyundai Elantra.

Terms:
Car must be in your name and insured in your name along with a title.
Car must not be financed. ( Must be paid off) - Proof of title
No snow state vehicles.

How it works:
We agree to meet up for test runs.
You can take the car to any mechanic you choose but you will pay your own inspection. I will choose a day to take your car to my mechanic.
Finally we will pick a day to meet up at the dmv to exchange titles and congradulations your are the owner of a 350z

To place a bid:
Send a picture of your car with your right thumb in the picture. Also text only. I do not answer calls of numbers I do not have stored in my phone. Thank you for your interest and have a Blessed day."

And them "Brintons", ohhhhh yeah.

Uhhh, pics show Nitto and some Bridgestones. No wonder the ad's still up after a month. I'd say "plant life intelligence" but don't wanna insult any flora & fauna.

Not an entire Z car, but still funny none the less. I didn't know they made 350Zs from 2009-2010, especially ones that used DE blocks.
