Point of this thread is... If the 370 is so f-ugly or disappointing etc.. What cause you haters to keep reading about it and looking at one?
(PS Kingbaby I know your "hate" is subject to change )
Doesn't look like you've gotten any answers to your question.
It depends on the person but I'm guessing the answer is most likely a great passion for the Z car combined with a little bit too much extra time.
Personally, I love the new car so far and I know someone who has seen it in person with a similar taste in cars that gives it a 9/10. That's good enough for me until the official pics are out.
those who keep saying they hate the 370Z, and making dozens of posts to let other knows about it, will probably end up trading the 350Z for a 370Z in the end.

I agree. I also think OP noticed the same thing I have. The people who like the 370Z also like the 350Z. They appreciate both cars. They do not use words like "hate" or "ugly" to describe the 350Z, like the ones who say they do not like the 370Z, which I think is exaggerating.
A: Perhaps they own 350Z's and do not want to admit they think it is better, B: they really think it does not look as good but are exaggerating, "hate" and "ugly", come on.
The 370Z doesn't look way different than the car it is replacing.

Pretty much. It's self-preservation; convincing yourself you like what you already have.
Because as soon as you admit you like a new toy, you know that the next step is going to be pulling out the mf'n wallet and buying the damn thing... and taking a hit on that 1,2,3-year old 350z you already told yourself you were going to keep for years and years...
But for most level-headed enthusiasts, there's no denying the appeal and improvements of the 370Z.
Ain't consumerism a b!tch.
If it's around 3200 pounds, I'm seriously interested. If not, I'm going with Plan A which is a 2 year old Cayman S...
Glad to see at least some of us like to keep things civil.

+1 Very good point.
LOL One thing that did give me a chuckle. Was the 1st 3 posters who replied were already on my I-list (for one reason or another)...
