Default Those Headlights...

Everytime I look at the 370Z I almost get depressed that I bought an 08 a couple of months ago. Then I look at the front and see those damn headlights. My feet begin tingling and become restless as a feeling of helplessness sweeps through my body. Like when you see someone doing something completely absurd that you become irritated and are forced to turn away.

And so I realize that if I were in the same situation as I was two months ago, looking to buy myself a Z, I would take the horsepower loss and go with the prettier and cheaper car (would only be availible as used by then). Then use the money I would have saved to upgrade it and make it faster.

UNGGGHHHHH.....

P.S. How long until someone molds that nub straight into the bumper or fender?

I really like the headlights, especially when you take them in conjunction with the new tail lights.. Makes for a VERY aggressive, sweeping arc over the whole body line.

Nooooooooo, I wish that were so. I have a bit of OCD so I couldn't live with something like that.

And hey... it wasn't a mistake. It was the right time to have some fun.

Go to the nearest Nissan dealership and look at the new Maxima. Go. I'll wait right here. Bring pictures. Tell me that the headlights don't look good on that car then.

1. The design doesn't translate to two dimensions well enough to make any kind of judgement. In a photo, they stick out because your head can't likely abstract a shape in three dimensional space that you aren't used to. Go look at the Maxima in person and the pictures of the 370 will make sense to you. I promise.

2. The wide angle photos don't help since they distort images.

3. Even if you go and see the Maxima and understand how well the little "wings" work asthetically, you still have not seen the 370Z in person. Wait until then.

4. Stop creating a thread so you can complain about how you think you feel. There are many many people that have enough restraint and realize that creating a thread doesn't create sympathy, but rather annoyance.

If you keep getting those symptoms, check yourself into an Emergency Room.

You can always keep your 08 Z and wait until the next gen comes out. That's what I plan on doing and I have an 06. Hopefully they will do it right next time around.

Right on,those headlights look good on the Max and I'm sure they will on the Z as well. Now the Z's rear end is another story....

the new Z is better in every way. sounds like you have buyers remorse and are clinging onto anything you can to convince yourself that your 08 is better then the 370z. its not... sorry
