370 final drive ratio: 3.69
350 final drive ratio: 3.54

the facts own you actually...a taller final drive ratio makes for shorter overall gearing. why do you think a common mod for the 350 is 4.08 gears?

...never claimed otherwise.... and you missed the point.

When comparing the 370z to the 350z, a final drive ratio difference of 0.15 does not equate to "the 350z gearing is really way too tall".

The 370 fanboi runs deep with some... Next I'm expecting such fanboi comparisons as the "350z is really way too tall and way to heavy", as compared to the .3 inch lower and 12 pound heavier 370z...

I have yet to see the 370 in person, but I DO NOT want to see it on a dealership lot; I'm looking forward to seeing it on the road, so I can get that first impression while "in motion"

I saw one this week when I went to Nissan for service. They look the same, but not an upgrade of the 350z.

Here's a nice side profile comparison between the 2 Zs. IMO it's clear that the 370z has much more presence with its aggressiveness and ultimately looks better. The huge flared fenders, the small windows/green and the calling back to the tradition Z design theme of long hood with short deck (the 350z departed from this as its canopy sits in the middle of the car).

I still think my 350 looks better. I can't stand the lights on the 370. What's with the points on them?

I must be getting old. When a car looks good today, people say things like "It looks sick!" or "It looks like ***." I guess eventually we will be hearing people say, "I just saw the new XXXX and it made me puke. Can't wait to get one."

This picture will show you how ugly the 370z is compared to the 350z and the Z32 300zx.

The 300zx TT is a timeless design, and the 350z NISMO next to it makes it look good together, but the 370z, uggg...

What looks hot is pretty subjective but I like what Nissan did with the 370. I think it looks sexier. I wouldnt say the 350Z is dated looking by any means but the subtle changes in the 370 adding a bit more curvature enhances it. Plus the new stock 19" rays look awesome. Thats my 2 cents.

Hmm, the 370Z looks the best out of all of them to me. I guess it depends on your tastes. I do still like the 300ZX. But it has to be the twin turbo. That is one of my favorite of all the Z's. 1st (240Z), 2nd (370Z). 3rd (300ZX Twin Turbo). But to me the 370Z is best to me as far as the combination of looks and technology.
