+ 370z vs bolted 350z HR +

I just bought a 2013 370Z two weeks ago. I had a 2005 350Z 6 speed. Drove a few HR's in the years driving my old Z. As a daily I couldnt feel the HR was any quicker than the DE I had. Obviously on a circuit or a 1/4 the extra ponies will be an advantage, especially the higher RPM as you can hold a powerband longer. Technically the 370Z is faster than an HR. Its simple physics, stock for stock, it weighs less (I guess about 95lbs fewer pounds) and has 26 more HP with equal TQ. The meat and potatoes reason its faster is because of the power curve. The VHR just delivers it so smooth across the entire envelope. It uses the power more efficiently. Oh and the interior is sweet. MUCH better than than the 350Z. Just thought Id throw that in there. ;-)

I ran a stock auto 370z last Sunday he ran 8.494 @ 84.50 1/8th me 8.798 @ 82.26, him 1/4 13.164 @ 103.32 me 13.529 @ 105.30 our 60ft was him 1.995 me 2.069. He clearly beat me I'm not complaining I didn't feel it was worth the 7k + to get a 370 I'm perfectly happy with my solar orange 350z oh I'm gen 3 intakes and Berkeley test pipes manual trans. Few weeks I'll have ark pipes and osiris tune

Omg really guys we fighting about this. This is not a honda forum.
I'm I am a hr owner and I will admit 370z are faster then hr.
Also about the de, the hr is quicker. I beaten quite a few of De and drove my buddies De and I felt powerless compare to the hr.
The moral is there will always be a faster car!

I've raced 2 370's since I've had my Z.
1st Run vs a slightly modded 370, I had no passenger, he had 1, put 1 1/2 or more cars on him, 200+ lb passenger got in my car and he put half a car on me and then we tied doing a 60 roll I started in 2nd and him in 3rd (So I jumped out in the beginning).
2nd race against another 370.... he had a passenger I had none, 1 1/2 cars.
Still waiting to find one to beat me... All I got is ART PIPES
They may have better quarter mile times, but not every one races 1/4 mile
I've also never lost to another HR in a race with no passenger vs no passenger and dead even start.... so....
Highway runs eliminate launching and actually show who's car is faster imo.

1. the early 03 is actually lighter than the 370
2. good driver, can be seen by the lines you take vs. his, but that's not all - you can see at the very end on the straight he doesn't pull away, on the contrary you reel him in. Now that's hard to explain, except that everyone assumes the 350 is a slow pos compared to a 370, which is clearly the opposite.
was he running on GTR wheels?
