How about a bolt-on VQ (2003) vs a bolt-on 370? Over a long run, the 370 is faster. As you'll see, however, the cars are close enough that it's still relatively driver dependent. See the comparison starting at the 1:50 mark.

well, once again, depending on the drivers anything can be a "drivers race". me vs michael schumacher for instance. i could be driving a veyron vs michael in a 350z and i'd get pwned. hence i hate that argument.

for example, the 370 and 350 passing up the c5 with ease at 2:18... does that make the 350 faster than a c5 on the track, lol no.

I had to get some momentum! We have the rest of that session uploading onto YT now. I followed him for 4 or 5 laps, almost drafting since I was only a few feet from his bumper for a lot of it (we know each other and each other's driving style very well).

I suppose I was more talking about the "drag race" at the end of the video. You can see the 370 is ahead, but I get on the gas earlier and his car steps a little bit. My momentum pulls me up, but he has too much power after his HP:wt catches up. You can also see he does not put lengths on the 350 in any of the other straights. I think that's obvious.

Well my 370 Z sport 7 AT runs 12.8009 @ 110.33 with bolt ons.
Stillen G3 intake, Stillen CBE , Berk cats, and 4.08 gears on factory 19 inch street tires. 1.96 60ft times.
It dynos at 265 base line and now is at 297 rwhp (SAE) or 307 std rwhp.
A 370 nismo VS my 370 sport , no contest. Mines the quickist 370 N/A in the 1/4 mile.
I know have stillen headers on it an a NXT underdrive pulley and 305 35 18 Mickey Thompson drag radials 11 on the car. I will re dyno next week to see how much more rwhp it pick up with these new mods.
12.59 to 12.62 here we come.

Any N/A 350 HR's want to run against me. just bring it to the 2010 Z drag day at St Thomas drag way this summer.
I also have the first GTM SC for the 370. 11.7 here we come.

Fixed.

BTW, you have or you'll have the SC? You're talking about 12.6 then 11.7.

Eliminator was asking for anyone who wants to RUN him in the 1/4 to step up....So, since your dont even HAVE an HR anymore your input is irrelevant. And even if you did still have the God motored nismo your 1/4 time was still super sub par...what was it like 13.8??!?!?!? what ever your excuse was track prep, weather blah i dont remember you were not gonna shave a full second off that to compare to eliminators time. Which was dam near 12.7 ON street tires in an automatic....

Now his Acura TL does all of 200whp in it's torque steering glory as he hauls his grocery with his kid in the car as he makes hums exhaust notes similar to what his nismo use to make all while imaging how he will one day drive an antiquted z33 in hopes of rubbing it our faces with what he believes is a "more refined" sports car.

well, the guy has a automatic. its pretty much money every time unless you are terrible. if the HR guy can consistently run under 13.0 then he has a chance.

12.92 at 111........don't know about consistency. His car is an anomaly compared to almost all other bolt-on HR I have seen.

Also, solo probably won't post his 1/4 because he is/was a full second behind this dude......just sayin'.
