So I know this guy who bought a 2009 370Z last August. He bought it with the Nismo lip kit and Nismo exhaust. When he first bought it, he swore up and down that it was a REAL 370Z Nismo.
As of now the car has:
- 2008 350Z Nismo wheels
- Straight-piped Nismo exhaust
- Nismo badge on the front grill
- Crooked Nismo badge on the rear bumper
- Nismo floor mats
- Last but not least, he wears his Nismo hoodie to the meets on the weekends.
IMO, I know it's not a Nismo. I'm pretty sure it's just a Base 370Z. He has heated and powered leather/suede seats.
Thoughts of what trim level this ACTUALLY is?

Are you sure this isn't just a grammar misunderstanding? Is he saying he has a Nismo trim level 370 Z? Or is he just using Nismo in the adjective sense to describe some parts on his car?

He says that he has a Nismo 370Z. On his Instagram description, it even says "Nismo 370Z". Which is complete ********.

Thought so... I was looking at 370 hashtags on Instagram and came across a Z claiming it was a Nismo.
Looks like he even went as far as adding a Nismo rear badge to his Z. Looking through his photos, you can see his progress on updating his car (wheels, kit, badges -- still no Nismo seats, brakes, or plaque). What a tool.
