I was at the local Nissan dealer today, and I happened to see a used 2012 370Z that's for sale there. On the right side of the rear bumper is a Turbo emblem.



Here's the ad for the car:

The ad says nothing about it being a turbo, and the car appears in every way to be a stock base model with the 7AT.

Did they really make a turbo version?

I don't see why this is any more acceptable than 350Z owners using the Porsche turbo badge. Maybe it was turbo then returned to stock for trade-in.

At only 4,000 miles? Because it's fooling those who doesn't know any better that the 370 never came turbo? Of course you can take one look at the engine bay and tell it's not turbo but the average joe wouldn't know.

If member Winchman is asking if they "made the 370 turbo", there's no hope for the average person buying this Z.

To the OP: Absolutely!! Id say HALF the Z's you see on the road are Turbos, we just de-badge. Best sleeper mod ever!!
