I had a 350z for 10 happy years.
Bought a new '14 370z sport and Im even happier.
However, still disappointed that the 2016 looks exactly the same as mine.
Still have hope the all new Z, will finally have a turbocharger....and I think it's coming.

I wonder if I will miss the VLSD in my '04 Touring if I go with a Base z34?
I test drove a certified pre-owned '16 Base w/4,054 miles, I didn't go above 3k RPM but I couldn't tell a difference under acceleration over z34's I've driven with the VLSD.
I never drive my z33 hard as it is so I could probably live without a VLSD.

If you never drive your car hard (or go to the track), you'll never notice the difference with an open diff.

The hardest I drive it is throwing it around a curve every now and then and letting VDC sort things out for me.

From 2012 up they did, it works well enough for DD duties but for track use it would be wise to upgrade.
