DALLAS - Folks... Have You Seen a GT-R Rolling Around?
Of course I saw it at the Auto Show earlier in the year, but surprisingly with the sheer number of "car nutz" that splurge bigtime round here, I have yet to see one rolling.
Any of you?
I figured that dealership would get most do to their high profile and location. But What... They just ordered em in with no buyers? I doubt that.
I meant on the road anyway.
There's one guy in particular here in Midland that I'm shocked hasn't bought one....well maybe not..he's into "high end" cars...just kinda figured he'd get one for shits-n-giggles...ya know.
He has a Bugatti Veyron, McLaren F1, Enzo, just to name a few.(examples of his "high end" taste)...surprisingly a really nice fellow.

Yeah if I was in to highend cars a nissan would be pretty low on my list too.
Went to go pick up my plates at the dealer ship the other day and saw this, I asked if I could see the interior, the manager said the Keys were locked up in a higher security area, and then asked me very nicely not to Touch the car. Then I started taking pics LOL
It was Marked up 15,000, and the future owner already put an none refundable 25,000 deposit/down payment. Manager told me no test drives are given, and you can't even sit in the car Until you sign all the paper work, and its delivered, to you.
But damn this thing is sexy, I hate my camera phone
i saw about 10 wrapped in plastic at the new car distribution center between mesquite and dallas while me and my partner were on patrol one night. the clerk let us in to look at them. i also saw on in north dallas off preston and church hill way, this guy was dropping his son off for school and i was directing traffic. also last week i saw on in cedar hill while i was getting lunch, im in love with that car.

I'm not a big fan of Don Davis. My friend went there to get a price for a Z, and this newbie salesman was cussing up a storm, and avoiding ever handing over a price. We ended up walking out. I'm not surprised they wouldn't let you inside since I see you were standing around smoking. No offense, but I wouldn't want that smell in my car. But on the other hand, that's the first one I've seen that wasn't sitting on a showroom floor. I guess they're already losing some importance. Like Classic Chevrolet parking the Vette ZO6's next to the Cobalts. That never would have happened when I was the porter there.
That story about Don Davis is so fuggin sad and pathetic. I mean... These stealerships should be damn near bending over backwards to treat ANY potential customer like gold considering their overall financial situation.
Suhweet nonetheless. My Color combo: White w/ Black lthr and a ferocious set of custom 3-pc wheels!

Another guy in Midland has a titanium GTR. He stopped by work when his girlfriend was looking at 350Zs and he let me drive it!
He was cool as hell. Told me, "get on it as much as you want".
