Pulled the first GT-R sub 1.5 60ft too. 1.497 :OMG:
* I'll have a shot of the time slip and video of the run up shortly.
We were running the same setup as our previous 10.80 run; just playing with some boost control settings. Mostly offset changes; still running 17psi. Car was running 100OCT. Temperature was about 71. LC was used.
Big THANKS to Chuck_H as always for coming out (and shooting video) and to Eddie & Mike, my mechanics who have done such a great job with the car. We added a little bit of power to the car with some new stickers tonight. Hard to see but the car is now sporting "Samurai Speed" on the doors. That's the new company I recently started (which Eddie and Mike are now a part of.)
Team Samurai Speed is making some great GT-R progress and we've got a lot other great stuff in the works. (This is only the beginning.)
AS ALWAYS... a HUGE THANKS to John Cobb for working so hard on tuning the GT-R's ECU and for creating a custom map for us.
It looks like an old buick grand national painted white lol. I just love the fact of how hard the GTR pulled outof the hole on the other car. The Buick had to play catch up half way down the track!!! Very impressive....keep up the good work!
