Forged Performance: GT-R at Barber Motorsports Park
Just back from Barber Motorsports park near Birmingham, AL. This is one of the nicest tracks in the country. Almost feels like driving through a golf course. The sand traps are immaculate. Lots of elevation changes, and a couple of the turns are blind and uphill...yeah...make for some suspenseful moments.
At this point, I have the car setups just about how I like it. I may do a little more experimenting with some sway bars, and possibly bumping the gas pressure, so I am sure this will be a more gradual process from this point forward.
Had a little fun chasing down this new 997 GT-3 which was running on some meaty Hoosiers. His brakes eventually gave out near the 1:25 mark on the video, and had to pull off. Really nice guy, and he knew how to handle the car.
