What do you guys hate most about the GTR?

hey guys,
im looking to buy a car for next year, so im doing some research now so im prepared for it when the time comes....i read some stuff on here about GTR's but im asking from the owners of GTR's what they hate the most? etc.. and if they would go back in time and buy a different car and why?...

im looking from Owner's expierence...but you guys are helping out too...i heard something about the tranny and problems with it?....along with the other thread about the nail and tire problem...what else is there that i dont know about...

there about the same in a straight line edmonds had a better 1/4 mile with gtr then the z06 .so once again it comes down to the drivers plus gtr has launch systm theres two vids so search

$2000 every 18k and every track session for tranny oil change. Maintenance are cost are like half the cost of that car. I hope you are rich...

well i heard about the tranny issues and how it voids your warranty and such....thats why im asking and looking for all the info i need before i dish out that kind of money...

well thats funny that you said that...i was really close on getting a vette...but my neighbor owns one and he scrapped going in and out of my drive way...b/c where i live....there is a section of my driveway that connects to the sidewalk...like a apporan....and it wont clear and it would cost a lot to lower the level on the driveway entrance...so i thought the GTR would be a good 2nd choice and i think its a little bit higher...idk...b/c my nissan dosnt have any GTR's...so thats why im doin as much research as possible...and not only that...but the GTR is the same price tag and its got a back seat and is a "little more practical" unlike a Vette/Z06....

repeated abuse of the launch control feature is what causes tranmission failures




damaging the transmission by repeated abuse of the launch control voids the warranty.

nissan has confirmed a software update for the gt-r that launchs the gt-r from a safer rpm

also: PPG has a gearset upgrade for the gt-r and it has already been installed in the samurai speed gt-r
