Nismo and Gigawave motorsports anounced today their official entry into the FIA GT series as a performance entry for testing, non-championship contention with the GTR.
The team will be based out of Essex, England and will compete in the FIA GT-1 class for four races in hopes of gathering data and maybe (fingers crossed) an eventual run at the 24hr of Le Mans (although no official announcement has been made)
Additional vehicles will be availble for teams to purchase at the rumored price of $720K/each.
The European race series is similar to the endurance format setup of the American Le Mans Series and is meant to be a proving ground for the 24hr of Le Mans.
