SP Engineering has been testing the HKS F-CON V Pro fuel management computer system with the R35 GTR. HKS does not have a wire harness at this time so we custom made one ourselves. Our current modifications include: HKS GT570 kit, HKS Legamax exhaust, Greddy intercoolers, HKS Premium Suction Pipe Kit, 800 CC Denso Injectors, and SARD FPR.
We have tuned the vehicle and have accomplished good results by only controlling the fuel. A/F is currently at 11.4 at WOT. More testing/tuning are scheduled this coming week as we have plans to play with the ignition/timing to create more power.
The HKS V-PRO now has full control of the GTR's ignition/timing and fuel map. The following dyno graphs are a comparison between COBB's AP and HKS V-PRO along with the following parts:
As you said, tuning is needed. Thing is falling on its face up top. Its almost stock.
Am i missing something?
Nope you're not. Once we played with ignition/timing it has improved. However these turbos will lose its efficiency as you try to go any higher then 1.2 bar. Turbos are maxed.
