Default MY impressions of the GTR

So I have had the lucky opportunity to borrow a GTR for the weekend and I thought I would share my impressions of it.

I love the amount of attention it gets. It really isn't THAT much attention. The majority of people see a sports car...nothing more. Its not overly exotic looking. But, for those who do know what it is....they break their necks looking.

Very easy to drive. Tons of buttons but all easy to use and (for the most part) make sense.

The amount of acceleration is incredible. All speeds...it goes and goes FAST. If you do throw down the pedal there is a moment of pause either due to the drive by wire or the turbo lag (or maybe a combo of the 2?).

The only thing I don't care for is the transmission clunkyness (is clunkyness even a real word? if not then I need to copyright it). The performance of the transmission is amazing. Just the feel of it at lower speeds and the noise it makes...yuck. I feel like I'm braking something.

Still, in my top 3 best cars I've ever had the priveledge of driving!!

Unreal! Lets hop it doesn't have problems with window motors

Default I picked mine up 6/9 yesterday

2010 GT-R Premium, ipod and mats $80,000 even from Rockland Nissan in NY from Gary Cohen garyc@rocklandnissan.com . He has another if you want a good deal at near $5k off.
The good
Wow its really fast and the feel and steering are precise. excellent road feel and driver feedback. Comfortable and great interior cockpit. Great seats. It feels and sounds like a machine and I like that.
Excellent performance value
Dble clutch trans is on the money and smooth for its type, I would prefer a 6spd though
Did I tell you aggressive dealers are discounting now? tell your local MSRP ++ stealership to take a walk and never buy another car from them again. I bought 2 350Zs from locals and will not buy from them again
I vote with my buying $

needs improvement
some interior parts should be better quality for a car in this class. They need to take a lesson from Euro cars in this price range.
more sound proofing in rear
shock elec. setting should remember how you set it till you change it.
head Lights should be auto
XM should memorize more than 6 sta. (might not have figured out how)
The Bose well.. BLOWS but is better then on the Z

we make bronze statues and sculpture bigbronze.com
