I know this is a biased forum but why would choose a GTR over a z06, please give me some intelligent feedback, and if you aint got nothin nice to say dont say nothin.
I love how you ask for intelligent feedback followed by a statement like "if ain't got nothing nice to say dont say nothin."
LOL
I would choose the GTR only because of its technawlogy and exklusivity. The Z06 seems like a better daily driver to me but that's a downside because if you've seen one vette, you've seen em all.

I like that the GTR is rarer than the z06 but I just can't get past the looks and gearbox. Z06 for me.
thats what im thinkin too, and less of a price tag, the only thing gtr has is its rarety but i love them too, just seems like whenever i compare the cars i come back
I would choose the GTR for it's concept, turbocharged possibilities, awd, paddle shifter, and exclusivity,
+1, but it would be damn hard choice cause the Z06 is such a great car. it would drive me crazy choosing between the two but i would lean a little towards the GT-R
I have yet to drive a GT-R, but I have driven a C-6 Z-06 on a track a few times and played with a few GT-R's in the mountains at ZdayZ.
I know the GT-R is heavy, and I doubt it is as nimble as a Z-06, but Nissan has found a way to make that heavy car dance with, (I am guessing here) about 90% of the agility found in cars weighing almost 1000lbs less.
Aside from its weight, the GT-R seems to do everything else better than a Z-06. When it comes to "digging out" of turns, it's not even close. In stock trim, the Z06 I drove had trouble putting down its power out of turns. (A little more so than some other high power RWD cars I have driven.)
I hope I get a chance to put a GT-R through its paces, but until then, I can only speculate from what I saw driving behind some GT-R's in the mountains.

The traction on the Sharif's GTR at the airstrip was unreal. That thing was putting 520 whp DD (~560-570 rwhp DJ STD) AWD with no slip at WOT... IN THE RAIN. I know the car is heavy, but it doesn't feel heavy at all.
I had the chance to buy either and ended up the the zo6 reasons were I always wanted a zo6. the 427 sound and power and it was not FI. All the power was natural plus the gtr had to much computer driven control along with the tranny . But to each their own. I love my zo6 and seems like many people I meet do also. The car rides great once you get rid of the run flats. On a road trip after I had it dyno tuned the car gets about 30 mpg on the hwy at 70 mpg.

I'd get the one that gives you the better driving experience (aka a driver's car). And it's pretty obvious which one is much better at that.
The GTR is a great car. But its just not what I would be looking for in a supercar. It weighs too much, isn't as fast as a Z06 in terms of sheer acceleration, and doesn't offer a manual. I've seen too many people get rid of their GTR's for the fact that it doesn't give you the proper supercar experience.
